Hoops Capital seeks an experienced Business Development Manager - Premium Seating to lead the growth and management of our premium seating offerings across Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames operations. This dynamic role combines strategic B2B sales with hands-on client relationship management and game day operations, offering the unique opportunity to work with corporate partners while delivering world-class VIP experiences.
What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a key and vital role in:
Premium Sales & Revenue Growth - Execute outbound sales activities and B2B strategies to secure new premium seating clients, corporate partners, and achieve monthly/annual revenue targets
Client Relationship Excellence - Service premium members and corporate partners as primary point of contact, managing expectations, conducting regular check-ins, and driving retention through exceptional service delivery
Game Day Operations Leadership - Manage Event Day Requirements coordination, prepare comprehensive Game Day Guides, and liaise with venue to ensure seamless premium experiences
Strategic Partnership Development - Build and maintain strong sales pipeline through prospecting, identify new revenue opportunities, and develop relationships with key stakeholders for upselling
Premium Experience Delivery - Oversee on-site premium seating operations during events, coordinate logistics including wristbands, entry lists, and car parking to ensure service excellence
Performance Analysis & Reporting - Maintain accurate sales records, prepare regular performance analysis for management review, and collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns
What You Bring:
Proven track record in business development with experience in premium products, corporate partnerships, or hospitality sales preferred
Strong client service background with ability to manage high-value accounts, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction in fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience supporting sales in an event environment, logistics coordination, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Understanding of sports entertainment landscape, corporate hospitality, or premium seating sales with passion for basketball culture preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven ability to achieve revenue targets and build sustainable business relationships
