With a proud legacy and a commitment to excellence and Member experiences, KLTC is embarking on a transformative journey to bring its Sporting Services to an inhouse model.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Health and Fitness Manager to recruit, lead and manage a health and fitness team of personal trainers and class facilitators to deliver high-quality training services to our diverse membership base and drive a culture of service excellence, professionalism and Member engagement.
Reporting to the Director of Sports, successful execution of the role will involve:
- Developing and executing the health and fitness strategy aligned with the Club’s strategic objectives
- Overseeing delivery of periodised strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and health programs tailored to individual needs and goals
- Working closely with other sporting departments to deliver specialized strength and fitness training to ensure an integrated Member experience
- Introducing and promoting programs and initiatives to increase Member participation, engagement and satisfaction
- Building strong, authentic relationships with Members across all demographics
- Developing and implementing strategies and programs to increase Club revenue through personal training, small group training, and other specialty offerings
- Monitoring, controlling, analysing and reporting on financial performance and KPIs
- Coordinating staff rosters, facility bookings, equipment maintenance and servicing
- Overseeing the ongoing development and performance of staff, trainers, and class facilitators, ensuring the utilization of innovative and industry best practices
The successful candidate will ideally bring to the role:
- Undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Sports & Exercise Science or a closely related field
- Minimum 5 years in a fitness management role
- Australian Strength and Conditioning Association accreditation
- Proven business acumen and experience driving revenue growth in health and fitness services
- Demonstrated experience working with and developing programs to a wide range of clients (youth to seniors, general population to rehab cases)
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
