About Us

Nunawading Gymnastics and Sports Club is a well-established not for profit gymnastics club committed to giving everyone opportunity to achieve their goals, inclusion, and gymnast development at all levels - from KinderGym to Recreational to Squad competitors. Our dedicated team of coaches, volunteers, and families work together to foster a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

Role Overview

The Club Manager is a pivotal role that manages and leads the Club’s administration and operations. The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the work and operations of the administration team and other support staff within the business. This includes ensuring the safety of all staff and gymnasts, and all programs comply with the policies and procedures as set up by the Committee of Management. The Club Manager also provides reporting on the administration and financial function to the Committee of Management and ensures the Club is on track to meet its financial and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and club communications
  • Manage staff and support coaches with administrative needs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, safeguarding, and Gymnastics Victoria/ Australia standards
  • Lead enrollment, billing, and customer service systems
  • Collaborate with the committee on club strategy and development
  • Promote club events, competitions, and fundraising initiatives
  • Foster positive relationships with gymnasts, families, and stakeholders

  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Dedication to NG&SC's values and culture of inclusion and belonging
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a diverse team
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and staff supervision
  • Familiarity with gymnastics
  • CPR/First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Passion for working with children and promoting active lifestyles
