Iconic Australian brand Speedo is on the hunt for a passionate Account Manager to deliver against sales targets by growing revenue through new account acquisition and building existing accounts.
The role you’d play:
- Develop and maintain your account portfolio through regular face to face meetings with account contact.
- Execute against the sales plan to drive Product, Price, Placement and Promotion strategies at Retail with a focus on sales growth.
- Monitor performance against objectives and take action steps to ensure budget achievement.
- Ensure regular call cycle of major accounts.
- Merchandise account retail spaces and Points of Sales where necessary to ensure optimal brand presentation, in support of trade marketing plans.
- Use SAP/BI/PBI to gain relevant information to analyse the business and identify opportunities in your territory.
- Undertake product information and training sessions with customers to ensure they're equipped with the right product knowledge.
- Build relationships with account contacts and identify new business opportunities in channels such as aquatic, sports, surf and independent retail.
- Ensure that all relevant reporting tasks and other administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
What you’d bring to the role
- Business/Commerce based qualifications an advantage but not essential.
- Previous account management experience in the sports or fashion industry an advantage but not essential.
- A passion for swimming or sport in general would be advantageous.
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed computer skills for reporting and group presentations.
- Excellent customer liaison skills, both face to face and over the phone.
- Results oriented, highly motivated and team player.
- High level of visual merchandising ability.
- Able to think laterally when solving problems.
- Able to successfully reach predetermined work targets.
- Proactive and flexible regarding work practices.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to an array of different personalities.
- Full open Driver's Licence and car essential.
- Ability to frequently travel to the ACT and across Southern NSW.
