The Head Junior Women’s Coach will lead the coaching, development, and progression of our junior female athletes (U12-U18). This is a pivotal leadership role focused on fostering talent, encouraging participation, and maintaining apositive and competitive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions for junior women’s teams
Mentor and manage assistant and age-group coaches
Select and lead teams in local and state competitions
Develop pathways for player development and progression
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive team culture
Work closely with the Club’s Junior Men’s Coach and Committee
What We’re Looking For
Coaching experience in water polo, ideally at the junior or youth representative level
Current or willingness to obtain:
WPA Coaching Accreditation (Development or higher)
Working With Children Check
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Passion for youth sport and female athlete development
Evening training Mon/Thur, Sat afternoon and Sunday games
