About the Role

This is a key leadership role focused on embedding a high-performing and values-driven culture across Netball Victoria. Reporting to the COO, and managing a People & Capability Coordinator, you’ll drive HR strategy, deliver operational excellence, and support our staff to grow, thrive, and feel valued.

The focus of the role is as follows:

  • Delivering strategic and operational HR initiatives aligned to NV’s values and vision
  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, retention, and recognition programs
  • Driving a high-performance culture through embedded performance frameworks
  • Managing compliance with employment legislation, policies, and awards
  • Leading our workplace health and safety, risk management, and return-to-work programs
  • Supporting learning and development across the organisation
  • Promoting diversity, inclusion, and cultural safety in all people practices

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in Human Resources or Business Partnering
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or related fields
  • Sound knowledge of workplace legislation, Modern Awards, and best-practice HR policies
  • Proven experience embedding performance and development frameworks
  • Strong communication, leadership and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence at all levels
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check
  • A passion for people, culture, and the power of community sport
