THE ROLE
Are you an experienced rowing leader who loves inspiring young people and supporting fellow coaches to grow and thrive?
PLC is seeking a new Head Rowing Coach (0.8 FTE) to join us on a one-year fixed-term contract, with strong potential to become ongoing for the right candidate.
Above award remuneration will be considered for a high-calibre candidate who meets the position requirements
The Head Rowing Coach leads the development and delivery of PLC’s rowing program, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture aligned with the College’s vision.
The PLC Rowing program is based at Melbourne Girls College, and PLC’s own Joan Montgomery Centre provides students and coaches with state-of-the-art facilities to support their training.

ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will bring experience in rowing coaching and program development across school, club, and elite levels, with a strong understanding of rowing coordination in educational settings.
You will hold a Level 1 Rowing Coach Accreditation, Current First Aid and CPR Certificates, and an Employee Working With Children Check. A boat licence and heavy vehicle licence would be preferred.
You bring energy and commitment to your role, with a caring and encouraging approach that inspires and supports our students, coaches and the wider community.
