Target Pistol Australia (TPA) is the peak sporting body of the administration of the Pistol Shooting sport in Australia. The organisation manages the development pathway to the Olympic / Paralympic sport sector as well as the highperformance pathway for three non-Olympic sports disciplines.
The Member Services Officer plays a key role as the link between members and the TPA Head Office. The position primarily focuses on providing administrative and customer service support to members within TPA ensuring a positive member experience.
Tasks include answering inquiries, processing membership transactions, managing the member database, and ensuring a positive member experience. The position also manages the new National Club Competition and supports the Sports Administrator in managing the activities of the three National Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Services: Respond to all phone and online inquiries from members. This is a key area
where we aim to improve communication and member engagement.
Administrative Support: Assist the FOSP and the Development Officer with various administrative tasks as required.
National Club Competition: Manage the National Club Competition, a significant role that involves strong organisational and project management skills.
National Teams: Oversee the processing of National Team applications and manage selection scores, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Championship Preparation: Support the preparation and coordination of trophies and equipment for
National Championships to help ensure smooth events.
Online Store Supervision: Supervise part-time staff involved with the online store, providing
guidance to maintain efficient operations and good customer service.
General Administrative Duties: Provide additional administrative support as needed to assist with
daily operations.
