About the Internship
Are you passionate about sport, retail, and learning the ropes behind the scenes of a professional club? Join us as a Merchandise Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting our Merchandise Team across a range of game day and e-commerce activities.
What will you be learning and observing?
- Assisting with game day set-up alongside our Retail and Merchandise Executive
- Supporting the invoicing and reconciliation process with our suppliers and warehouse provider
- Helping manage customer enquiries and the returns process
- Coordinating internal merchandise requests across departments
- Contributing ideas to product range planning, design and ordering
- Learning how we manage product launches and upload items into our Shopify platform.
What skills will you possess?
- Background in retail sales
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations
- Sound knowledge of all MS office applications, especially Excel
- Availability to work outside of standard working hours at Parramatta Eels matches.

Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- 2nd or 3rd Year Student
- Completing this Internship as a required aspect of a degree/course
- Customers Service Experience.
Desirable:
- Excel and Word Doc skills
- Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check
- Previous Volunteer or Work Experience with a Sporting Organisation.
Hours of Internship
210 hours total: 9am-5pm, 2 days a week.
