We are currently looking for an experienced bookkeeper, to assist with services such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations & payroll. The role will require site visits to clients around inner Melbourne suburbs & Werribee at least once a quarter.
Key Requirements
Advanced knowledge of Xero
Intermediate knowledge of Excel
At least 2 years' experience as a bookkeeper/accountant
Experience in BAS preparation
Committed and Self Motivated
Excellent communication skills
Duties include
Accounts Payable
Processing and entering of supplier accounts into Xero
Processing payments for suppliers including loading ABA into bank for payment
Contacting suppliers if any queries on invoices
Managing and collecting credit card receipts via Dext/Weel/Airwallex software for processing
Accounts Receivable
Processing any sales invoices as required
Managing debt collections and keeping Xero and the client updated
Bank Reconciliations
Reconcile any income or expenses to appropriate sales invoices, bills or transactions
Payroll
Process any leave or timesheet requests
Process payroll including loading ABA file into bank for payment
Process superannuation
Other Tasks
Assistance with preparing Monthly Reports
Assistance with Month End Reconciliations
BAS reviews
Assistance with Budgets & Forecasting
Assistance with software implementation
