Based at RAAF Amberley, the Department of Defence requires a Supplier to provide physiotherapy support for the training delivered by the Royal Australian Air Force, Security and Fire School (RAAFSFS).
The Supplier shall deliver quality preventative physiotherapy that enhances performance capability for RAAF SFS Fit to Fight (F2F) participants, pursuant to current ethical and industry standards and the requirements of the F2F program.
The Supplier shall be responsible for developing and delivering evidence-based, proactive clinical services that enhance combat effectiveness and sustained well-being of RAAF SFS personnel and students that is consistent with the F2F Program including policies, instruction materials and written guidance from HPS Deputy Director Human Performance Optimisation (DDHPO).
The Supplier shall deliver the services for RAAFSFS as part of the broader F2F Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). The Supplier shall communicate and collaborate effectively with other members of the MDT, and the Customer in general, in order to provide comprehensive and complementary training, guidance and education. The MDT may include Strength & Conditioning Coaches (S&C), Physical Training Instructors (PTI), Medical Practitioners and other Air Force personnel.
The role requires a highly motivated and energetic practitioner, with extensive expertise delivering programs to high performance individuals and teams with the ability to work autonomously. The successful Supplier must demonstrate evidence of building effective productive relationships, identifying existing deficiencies, and developing innovative, pragmatic solutions to optimise human performance.
