Caboolture Sports Softball Association, is a part of the award winning Caboolture Sports Club Group, and is renowned for its passion, excellence and commitment to the game. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Softball Association into its next chapter of success. If you are a hands on leader with a strong passion for softball, have demonstrated experience in working in sports management, and have a knack for operational excellence, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management: Oversee the coordination of season fixtures, special events, and representative teams, while developing programs and membership growth across all levels.
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all club activities.
Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to ensure the associations' financial health.
Employee Management: Lead, mentor, and support team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Marketing and PR: Drive marketing and public relations efforts to enhance the association’s visibility and engagement.
Player and Team Support: Work closely with coaching team on player development and administrative functions.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with all levels of government, sponsors, members, and community partners.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and risk management protocols
Skills required to be successful in role:
Demonstrated experience in sports management.
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven financial management and budgeting experience.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong knowledge of softball operations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:
Sporting Qualification in sports management desirable
Responsible Service of Alcohol (or willing to obtain)
Food Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Ability to hold and maintain a Blue Card
Hold and maintain a current Driving Licence
Ability to hold and maintain a Police Check
