Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Digital, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering end-to-end omnichannel marketing campaigns that align with business needs and strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in elite sports, entertainment, broadcast or a digital/creative agency and be able to thrive in a dynamic and busy environment. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who is ambitious and driven to make a difference every day.

This role will require the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive marketing activity that elevates the Club’s brand and commercial outcomes.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Establishing, producing, coordinating and delivering marketing campaigns that are on brand, on time and within budget.
  • Defining brand positioning, identifying target audiences, and developing marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Ensuring campaign communications and brand messaging are aligned across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Analysing customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and best practices to inform and build successful strategies.
  • Reporting on marketing campaign results and providing key insights to inform future campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
  • Building positive working relationships with internal business units and external agencies and suppliers including events, media and creative services.
  • Collaborating with the Content team to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Working with external suppliers and media buyers to secure cost-effective outdoor and out-of-home advertising placements.
  • Planning and executing direct marketing campaigns via eDM and SMS alongside the broader Marketing & Digital team.
  • Maximising marketing automation, segmentation, and retargeting strategies using CRM and CDP platforms like Klaviyo.
  • Presenting ideas and final deliverables to senior leaders, and communicating strategies, budgets, and campaign outcomes.

 Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in marketing in elite sports, entertainment, broadcast or agency environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with planning and executing both BTL and ATL retail marketing and brand campaigns.
  • Experience planning, forecasting and managing paid media budgets.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in executing ad-hoc and automated eDM and SMS campaigns via CRM/marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo, Braze, Marketo, AEM or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Intermediate skills and experience editing photos and graphics via applications such as Canva or Photoshop.
