The Cronulla Sharks Rugby League Football Club has been an integral part of the Sutherland Shire community and the National Rugby League (NRL) since our establishment in 1967. A proud and passionate club, our most significant achievement came in 2016, when we were crowned NRL Premiers for the first time in our 50-year history.
In 2023, the Cronulla Sharks proudly expanded into the NRLW, and in only our second season, the team reached a major milestone by becoming Grand Finalists in 2024 - an outstanding achievement and a testament to the talent, dedication, and spirit of our club.
The role
The Role is an honorarium role that will be required to;
- Assist in planning and delivering suitable treatment, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning programs for players recovering from injury. This is to be done in consultation with relevant NRLW Head Coach, Head Academy/Junior Rep Physiotherapist, NRL Performance Manager Medical Trainer and Doctor.
- Assist to provide up to date reports on injured players and expected return to training and play estimates.
- Keep up to date and accurate records for all injured players.
- Attendance at up to 3-4 training sessions per week as well as competition matches.
- Assist to assess, prepare and strap players as required for training sessions and game days.
- Game day roles as required
Essential Requirements
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Drivers Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role with physiotherapist qualifications
