Description

The Manager, Performance Pathways is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a structured development program for NSW swimmers with the aim of producing world class athletes via a holistic approach. This role aims to identify and nurture talent, facilitating the provision of resources and support to help athletes to reach their full potential and create a clear pathway for their progression.

A critical member of the SNSW team, the Manager Performance Pathways will support the organisation to drive towards our ambitious vision of returning NSW to number one for performance and participation. This will be achieved via innovation, creativity and strong partnerships with organisations and experts.

The Manager, Performance Pathways will also support the Chief Operating Officer to manage the day-to-day operations of SNSW Performance Centres, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within the Australian high performance system
  • Understanding of sport science disciplines and the application to swimming within a pathway program
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to the achievement of key performance indicators
