|Position Title||Competitions Administrator|
|Short Description||To successfully coordinate community Rugby competitions including competition management, administration and match official management.|

Please note: This is a full time, fixed contract position until October 31, 2019.
Under the direction of the Rugby Services Manager, the Competitions Administrator with administer the operational aspects of club competition Rugby.
- Manage all administrative matters relating to the Junior Competition, including Rugby Xplorer Results, ladders and finals eligibility for junior teams.
- Coordinate weekly competition administration including results, blue/yellow/red cards and competitions cases,
- Arrange the weekly distrubtion of referree appointments for club and school fixtures, both senior and junior (including pre-season matches, 7s tournaments/competitions and finals).
- Applicants must be availble on Saturday mornigns to take phone calls from junior clubs to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner and communicated to all parties.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience administering sports competitions and exhibits excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to evoke the cooperation of people across a wide range of organisations including volunteers, clubs and school.
Experience with Rugby Xplorer/Rugby Link player registration and competition management systems similar competition management systems is desirable.
Alongside a passion for sport, candidates will benefit from general knowledge of Victorian Rugby and the Melbourne Rebels and will have a passion for the sport and a willingness to work unorthodox hours.
