|Short Description||The McDonald's Kanga Cup is the largest youth football tournament in the Southern Hemipshere. The internship will involve overseeing all events during the McDonald’s Kanga Cup, including pre-planning and brainstorming, the allocation of resources, creative influences, staff/volunteer management, through to execution and review.|

This internship may be completed by a very motivated individual or a team of dedicated students and will involve overseeing all aspects of a particular event/s during the McDonald’s Kanga Cup
Specific tasks include:
- Event brainstorming
- Schedule planning
- Staff and volunteer management
- Budget control and implementation
- Event operations & production
- Event delivery
- Reviewing afterwards
The opportunity to broaden the understanding of key entertainment events, as well as working on all elements of an event such as an opening ceremony, our new evening events and finals day.

McDonald’s Kanga Cup
The McDonald’s Kanga Cup is the largest youth football tournament in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting approximately 370 teams from Australia and overseas. It is conducted in July over a week in Canberra. The McDonald’s Kanga Cup was also presented with the 2017 Minister for Sport and Recreation’s Award for Event Excellence.
