Detailed Description

This full time position will take technical direction in line with the FFA National curriculum working in conjunction with NNSWF's Technical Director and provide leadership in a technical and policy sense to players and coaches in the Talented Player Pathway within the North Coast Football Zone.  This direction should follow the philosophy and curriculum of the NNSWF Technical Director whilst be sufficiently flexible to cater for any unique needs and circumstances which may exist in North Coast Football Zone.  

Key knowledge and skills required include:

  • hold a current FFA Advanced Coaching B License ;
  • knowledge, understanding and experience in working in the area of talented player / coach development, community football and miniroos ;
  • experience in the establishment and ongoing management of coach / athlete development programs including NPL and SAP ;
  • high level of communication skills, particularly presentation skills ;

The role will include work after hours, weekends and some intrastate travel.

The remuneration package is negotiable based on the experience of the successful applicant.

North Coast Football (NCF) consists of 24 Clubs bounded by Scotts Head Sharks SC in the South, Dorrigo Highlanders SC to the West and Iluka FC in the North. 
All levels of football are provided from a grass roots level starting with Aldi Mini Roos through to C.ex Group Men’s Premier League, C.ex Group Women’s Premier League as well as Masters competitions. 
NCF is also responsible for match officials and their development opportunities, as well as players and coaches through FFA pathways and programs.
