This busy role requires a candidate with excellent administration, time management skills and practical experience in program and competition delivery. You will gain an understanding of all volleyball programs, competitions and events delivered by SVNSW and perform a wide range of activities ensuring the successful planning, communication, delivery and review of the portfolio.
The Volleyball Development Officer provides the day to day delivery, coordination of all Beach Volleyball Programs & Coach Education and Development activities for State Volleyball NSW. The position will have a special focus on State/Club Coach development for and also talented player development programs.
Teamwork and open communication are essential. You will be an important contact for our Affiliate Clubs and Associations, for both beach and indoor programs, all year round!
Growth opportunities exist for SVNSW to deliver Beach Volleyball competitions for primary and secondary school students, and collaborate with Volleyball Australia to deliver high quality international volleyball events in New South Wales, including Volleyfest.
The role of SVNSW Development Officer is vital to achieving our Vision. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting future for State Volleyball NSW and provide excellent service to our growing community of members and supporters. Prior experience is essential as either a volleyball player, official or volunteer. This will benefit you greatly, so that you can ‘hit the ground running’ in this busy role.
