The Sydney Swans are currently accepting expressions of interest from suitably experienced individuals for the Head of Football position on our Executive Management Team. This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
This position will manage “everything football” to maximise the long term on-field performance of our team. We will have succeeded when our football department is the benchmark for other AFL clubs across all sources of competitive advantage.
The successful candidate will commence in the position on 1 November 2018.
- Lead and manage all staff well.
- Maximise our on-field performance.
- Manage the following key areas to create and sustain competitive advantage:
- Injury prevention and management
- Recruitment and list management
- Player welfare and development
- Player leadership and team culture
- Football technology
