This role will appeal to an experienced Bronze Level (or above) Coach who has a genuine love for the development of younger swimmers and is looking to extend upon their current leadership skills.
The successful applicant will live and breathe the ethos of Melbourne Vicentre “Empowering Swimmers to be Champions in Life” whilst having a broad appreciation of the necessary business principles involved in building a successful swimming club. As a newly created lead coaching position within the club, this role will operate under the guidance and mentorship of Head Coach Craig Jackson.
Based predominantly at Korowa Girls School, the successful applicant will enjoy an excellent work environment at one of Victoria’s most highly regarded private schools and will work closely with and be supported by Melbourne Aquatic, our Learn to Swim program coordinator.
Experience within the education sector will be highly regarded with the role encompassing squad development and training of the Korowa Girls Swim Team and program management of the senior school swim program at the school.
This position offers the financial security of a permanent part-time position of 32+ hours per week with one of Australia’s most successful swimming clubs commencing March 2018 (neg).
