Hockey Australia (HA) is the governing body responsible for providing Australians with the opportunity to play hockey from junior levels through to elite competition, including the Olympic Games.

Hockey Australia seeks to appoint a Manager, High Performance Unit, to work within the High Performance (HP) team. The role will be responsible for managing, planning and coordinating Operational and Logistical Support for the Men’s and Women’s National High Performance programs. The role is equally responsible for ensuring the management and operation of the HP Unit in Perth. 

This will include implementing systems and procedures to ensure the HA HP Unit is ensuring best practise processes are in place in the Perth DTE. The role will be based in the HP Unit in Perth, Western Australia.

Role Purpose

Alongside the Manager of Planning and Performance you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest level of administrative, operational, logistical and service support to the Men’s and Women’s National High Performance Programs. In addition, you will work in collaboration with the Head Coaches to ensure all program and local DTE needs are being met. 

An integral part of your role will be to manage all logistics for National camps, tours and tournaments for both programs, this will include budget management in support of the National Coaches.
