THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sydney Swans are currently accepting applications from suitably enthusiastic individuals for a Member Services Executive position in our Consumer Business Department.

The Consumer Business team exists to give the Swans’ community amazing experiences and this position will have prime responsibility for providing superior customer service to valued Sydney Swans members, supporters and stakeholders.

This position is accountable for the effective implementation and administration of baseline programs designed to educate Sydney Swans members to encourage membership utilisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide superior customer service to Sydney Swans members and supporters via phone, email, on-line chat and in-person.
  • Become an expert in trouble shooting membership and seating queries, including developing a commercial and practical understanding of the SCG seating plan.
  • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Sydney Swans CRM database and data accuracy.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when dealing with customer complaints.
  • Assist at member and community events and on match day.
  • Assist with the processing and administering of the membership renewal campaign.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Excellent customer service 
  • Communication, negotiation and sales skills
  • Ability across the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience within a loyalty program is preferred

THE RIGHT PERSON WILL:

  • have 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service environment;
  • be calm under pressure – can work to deadline and multitask whilst maintaining their cool;
  • have an excellent phone manner;
  • have high attention to detail;
  • be mature, friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude;
  • be curious in nature, looking for innovation in their work;
  • need to be flexible with working hours including match-days.
