Gymnastics Queensland

Gymnastics Queensland is the peak body for the eight disciplines of gymnastics known as “Gymsports” in Queensland. The organisation maintains a high profile reputation among its peers, government departments and industry for its success and leadership.
Within Queensland there are over 125 affiliated clubs available, providing a range of gymnastic programs for in excess of 35,000 athletes. There are also currently over 850 technical members (coaches and judges) throughout Queensland.
Background
Following the conclusion of the London Olympics Gymnastics Queensland has conducted a review of its High Performance Program with a view to increase the number of Queensland Gymnasts on the National team at 2015 World Championships and 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

As part of this, Gymnastics Queensland is seeking to fill the following positions:
Key Responsibility
The key responsibility of the coaches is to meet the stated performance objectives of both the Gymnastic Queensland and the Gymnastics Australia Program. Identification and development of Queensland’s best male and female athletes through the delivery of the daily training program.
Skills and Experience
All coaching positions are “hands on” providing individual performance coaching of the young talented athletes or current International level athletes.
