Description
The AUSTSWIM Aqua Exercise Instructor course meets the requirements of nationally recognised training. The course will enable candidates to deliver aqua exercise sessions to a range of participants once all course requirements have been completed and submitted. Aqua Exercise Instructors are in high demand across Australia and AUSTSWIM is proud to be able to offer this course.
The course is recognised and registered with AUSactive and provides successful candidates with 20 CECs.
Course Units of Competency
This course contains units of competency that are nationally recognised from the Sport, Fitness and Recreation training package.
Upon successful completion of all assessment requirements, candidates will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the units listed below.? Candidates will also receive a Certificate of Accreditation (CoA).
- SISFFIT038 Plan group water-based exercise sessions
- SISFFIT039 Instruct group water-based exercise sessions
- SISFFIT048 Use anatomy and physiology knowledge to support safe and effective water exercise
- HLTWHS001 Participate in workplace health and safety
- SISCAQU020 Perform water rescues
Additional Requirements
Candidates are required to provide a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID011 Provide first aid, a current CPR and a Working With Children Check as required in your state or territory.
