The course focus includes aquatic safety, environmental awareness, scanning and surveillance techniques, rescue skills, communication, resuscitation, emergency care and incident management.
Due to the physical requirements of this course, it is recommended that candidates are 16 in the calendar year they attempt the course.
This course is not suitable for participants requiring the skills and knowledge to operate in a grade two (or above) 'rapid'river environment.
