Love creating content that brings sport, brands and great ideas together?
The Gold Coast SUNS are seeking a creative and experienced Commercial Content Producer to join our Media, Marketing & Digital team.
Since entering the AFL in 2011, the SUNS have built a strong and passionate supporter base on the Gold Coast and across Queensland. As the Club continues to grow, so too does the opportunity to create innovative content that showcases our commercial partners and connects them authentically with our audiences.
Working closely with our Digital and Partnership teams, you will bring our commercial partnerships to life through engaging, high-quality content across the Club’s digital, social and broader communication platforms. From developing the initial concept through to filming, editing and delivery, you’ll create content that achieves partner objectives while remaining authentic to the SUNS brand and engaging for our fans.
This is a hands-on role for a content producer who understands the commercial side of content and enjoys working in a fast-paced sporting environment. You’ll work with players, coaches, staff, partners and other talent to deliver everything from social content and partner campaigns through to digital advertising, TVCs and match-day content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts that bring commercial partnerships and campaigns to life
- Film, edit and produce engaging partner content across the Club’s digital and social platforms
- Deliver commercial content including sponsorship activations, social content, digital advertising, TVCs and match-day content
- Work closely with the Partnerships team to understand partner objectives, campaign requirements and contractual deliverables
- Create authentic partner content featuring players, coaches, staff and other Club talent
- Coordinate commercial content schedules, including player and talent requirements, approvals and production timelines
- Project manage commercial productions from initial brief and concept development through to filming and final delivery
- Collaborate with the broader Digital and Content team to integrate commercial content into the Club’s wider content schedule
- Develop new content ideas and formats that engage SUNS audiences and provide value to our partners
- Stay across digital and social trends, particularly across sport, entertainment and branded content
- Use digital performance insights to support campaign reporting and help inform future content
- Identify opportunities to authentically integrate commercial partners into existing Club content and digital platforms.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in digital content production, video production, social media or a similar role
- Strong filming and video editing skills, including experience operating professional camera equipment
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with broader Adobe Creative Suite experience
- Demonstrated experience developing creative concepts and taking them from brief through to final delivery
- An understanding of commercial objectives and how to translate these into engaging content
- Strong knowledge of social platforms, digital content trends and audience engagement
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines

- The ability to thrive in the fast-moving environment of professional sport and deliver quality work under tight deadlines
- A strong work ethic, collaborative approach and willingness to jump in when needed.
Experience producing branded, sponsored or commercial partner content will be highly regarded, as will previous experience working within professional sport. Relevant tertiary qualifications in film and television, digital media, marketing, communications or a related field are desirable.
Please note, working in professional sport isn't always 9 to 5. This role will require flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including nights and weekends, in line with football, match days, events and content requirements. Some interstate travel may also be required.
