We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Basketball Development to help shape the future of our program and the young people within it. This is a Permanent Full-Time, Term Time + 6 Non-Term Weeks commencing Term 4 2026.
About The Role
Working closely with the Director of Basketball & Head Coach of Basketball the role of Head of Basketball Development will play an important role in the leadership, development and delivery of the Knox Basketball Program.
This is a unique opportunity to:
- Lead the continued development and improvement of the Knox Basketball program across all year levels and abilities.
- Create an engaging, positive and progressive learning environment.
- Support both student and coach development, basketball education, facilities and program performance.
- Promote collaboration, integrity, cooperation and teamwork.
- Operational & logistical support of the basketball program in the school.
What You’ll Bring
We're seeking a basketball professional who combines strong technical expertise with a genuine passion for developing young people.
You will bring:
- Basketball coaching experience at a high level.
- Association Coach Level 2 accreditation (or higher).
- Experience working with young athletes in school, representative or elite environments.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- The ability to inspire students and coaches to achieve their potential
