The Glenroy Football Club is seeking Sport Trainers to join our football program for the 2027 season.
We are a proud community football club with a strong focus on player welfare, professionalism and creating a positive environment for everyone involved. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in community football, continue developing their skills, or become part of a committed sporting club.
What You’ll Do
- Provide first aid and on-field support to players during training and match days.
- Assist with injury management, treatment and prevention.
- Help with strapping, taping and basic sports injury treatment.
- Assist with player preparation before games and provide support throughout match day.
- Work closely with our coaches, team managers and football staff.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, professional and positive environment for our players.
What We’re Looking For
- Current First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain the required qualifications.
- Sport Trainer, Sports Medicine or similar qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in football or another sporting environment is beneficial.
- Reliable, organised and able to work well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- A genuine interest in player health, wellbeing and community football.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
