Role Overview

Knox Gymnastics is seeking a driven gymnastics professional to step into a key full-time leadership role focused on building, growing and delivering our Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) program. This is a genuine opportunity to grow the program into a thriving one - from athlete pathways and talent identification through to coach development and team culture.

This role carries overall accountability for the performance, growth, and successful delivery of the MAG program at Knox Gymnastics, reporting to the Coach & Education Manager. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professional standards and will confidently lead, mentor, and grow our MAG coaching team to support outstanding athlete outcomes.

The role combines on-floor coaching and floor management with strategic leadership, program planning, coach development, talent identification, data tracking, and ongoing program innovation and growth. Weekends and evenings are a requirement of this role.

About you:

We are looking for a driven and growth-orientated gymnastics professional who has:

  • Current Gymnastics Australia Advanced accreditation (Advanced Silver preferred, or willing to obtain) with 5+ years of coaching experience
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • Strong leadership capability, with the ability to build, mentor, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to a coaching team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset, with a genuine drive to build and grow a program
  • Proven success in athlete development, fostering long-term performance, technical progression, routine construction, and injury prevention
