Help deliver Australia’s biggest international lacrosse event!
Volunteer registrations are now open for the 2026 Asia Pacific Sixes Lacrosse Championships.
The Championships will take place at Sunshine Coast Stadium from 5 to 10 October 2026, bringing leading men’s and women’s Sixes teams from across the Asia Pacific region together for six days of international competition.
As the official Asia Pacific qualifying event for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, the tournament will be an important milestone for the sport. Teams will compete for regional success and the opportunity to continue their journey towards the Olympic stage.
Volunteers will play an essential role in helping the event run smoothly and creating a welcoming experience for athletes, officials, spectators and visiting teams.
A range of volunteer positions will be available across the tournament including operations, team services, spectator support, accreditation, venue presentation and other areas required to deliver an international sporting event.
No previous event or lacrosse experience is required. Volunteers will receive the information, guidance and support they need to complete their role and contribute with confidence. The opportunity is open to people who are passionate about sport, interested in gaining practical event experience or simply looking to be part of a major international event on the Sunshine Coast.
