The Balwyn Football Club is seeking an outstanding Senior Men's Coach to lead our proud and successful football program into its next chapter.

Established in 1917, Balwyn Football Club is one of the most recognised and successful community football clubs in Australia. Competing in the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) Premier Division, the club has built a reputation for sustained excellence, professionalism and high performance, underpinned by an unwavering commitment to its people and culture.

Our football history speaks for itself. Balwyn has won multiple senior premier divison premierships (as recently as 2024 & 2025), produced countless representative players and coaches, and established itself as a benchmark club within community football. Supported by an outstanding committee, passionate volunteers, loyal members and a strong commercial partner network, Balwyn provides an environment where success is expected, but culture always comes first.

We are seeking a coach who can continue to build on this legacy while inspiring our playing group to achieve sustained on-field success.

About the Role

• Reporting directly to the Football Director, the Senior Coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of the senior football program, including:
• Developing and implementing a clear football strategy and game plan.
• Building a high-performance environment centred on accountability, standards and continuous improvement.
• Leading, mentoring and developing players and coaches across the senior program.
• Driving player development, recruitment and retention in conjunction with the Football Department.
• Creating a united and inclusive culture that reflects the values of Balwyn Football Club.
• Building strong relationships with players, members, volunteers, sponsors and the broader club community.
• Working collaboratively with the Reserves, Under 19s and junior pathway to ensure long-term football success.
