Swimming Coach (Casual) – Rackley Squad Programs, Milne Bay & Highfields Aquatic & Fitness Centres

Join Our Team of Coaches

Rackley Swimming, part of City Venue Management, is seeking an experienced Swimming Coach to join our growing squad coaching team across Milne Bay Aquatic & Fitness Centre and Highfields Aquatic & Fitness Centre in Toowoomba.

This is an exciting opportunity to coach swimmers of all ages and abilities while becoming part of an organisation committed to developing the sport and supporting athlete performance pathways across the Toowoomba region.

The hours will be split between mornings i.e. 5:00-7:30am and in the afternoons from 3:30-7:00pm, depending on availability. There is strong potential to increase your hours by combining coaching with other roles including Swim Teaching, Customer Service and/or Lifeguarding.

About Rackley Swimming & City Venue Management

City Venue Management (CVM) is a facility management company that operates aquatic centres, swim schools, coaching programs, and health clubs across the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and New South Wales. We run competitive Squad Programs across 17 locations in Queensland, with a strong focus on supporting coaches in developing world-class training environments. We are guided by three fundamental principles: coach-driven excellence, a focus on the athlete's journey, and strong community support, all of which work to enhance the swimmer's experience and drive program success.

Essential Qualifications

  • Australian Swim Coach License
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Current Pool Lifeguard certification
  • Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (desirable)
  • Competitive Strokes Fundamentals, or equivalent (desirable)
