Kurrawa SLSC is seeking a passionate and motivated Youth Development Coach to support the growth and development of our youth athletes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver structured coaching sessions to a high standard as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assist athletes in developing surf sports skills, fitness, confidence and competition readiness.
• Conduct strength and conditioning sessions within the Club gym environment when required.
• Support athlete participation and follow up with members regarding carnival entries and attendance.
• Assist the Head Coach with planning and delivering sessions across all groups when required.

Requirements

• Coaching certificate.
• Strong understanding of Surf Lifesaving operations
• Bronze Medallion (current or previous)
• Experience in a similar role
• Current Financial Member of Kurrawa SLSC (or willingness to join upon appointment)
• Current Working with Children Blue Card
• Experience with Surf Life Saving systems (Surf guard, Member Portal, Limsoc, aXcelerate, LiveHeats), or ability to quickly acquire
• Driver’s license
