Kurrawa SLSC is seeking a passionate and motivated head nipper coach to support the growth and development of our junior activity members.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality coaching sessions for Nippers aged 11-13 years.
• Develop athletes' surf sports skills, fitness and competition readiness.
• Attend Nipper carnivals and provide competition support.
• Assist with school holiday boot camps and club development programs.
• Build positive relationships with athletes, parents and club members.
• Maintain training records and complete required reporting.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive and positive training environment.
• Support the Club's junior development pathway and coaching program.

Requirements

• Coaching certificate.
• Strong understanding of Surf Lifesaving operations
• Be a holder or complete and submit to the Commission for Children and Young People screening declaration.
• Bronze Medallion (current or previous)
• Experience in a similar role
• Current Financial Member of Kurrawa SLSC (or willingness to join upon appointment)
• Current Working with Children Blue Card
• Experience with Surf Life Saving systems (Surf guard, Member Portal, Limsoc, aXcelerate, LiveHeats), or ability to quickly acquire
• Driver’s license
