As the National Sporting Organisation for paddlesports in Australia, Paddle Australia supports everyone from recreational paddlers through to Olympic and Paralympic athletes. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Sports & Events Coordinator to support the delivery of national championships, international team programs and major paddling events across Australia and internationally.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Sports & Events, this role will play an important part in delivering one of the key pillars of Paddle Forward 32, elevating Australia as a premier paddling destination and creating exceptional experiences both on and off the water.

What you'll be doing
- Coordinating national events and championships across multiple paddlesport disciplines
- Supporting athlete, coach and team logistics for domestic and international competitions
- Managing event administration, communications and operational documentation
- Coordinating team apparel, merchandise and supplier relationships
- Working with volunteers, committees, clubs and State Paddle Associations
- Supporting Paddle Australia honours, awards and recognition programs
What we're looking for
- Experience in sports administration, event management or operations coordination
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience working with volunteers, sporting organisations or committees is highly regarded
