We are seeking a passionate and motivated Member Development & Athlete Performance Coordinator to lead and deliver a structured, safe, and high-performing member development program across the Club.
This is a new and exciting role, and is a key strategic investment in the future of our athletes, coaches, and members, focused on strengthening development pathways, improving retention, enhancing performance outcomes, and building a sustainable club culture.
Working closely with coaches, volunteers, athletes, and club leadership, you will coordinate athlete development programs, support coaching excellence, and help drive participation and performance across all levels of the Club.

Skills & Experience

Experience in sports development, coaching, or program coordination

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and stakeholders

Understanding of athlete development pathways and coaching frameworks

Knowledge of surf lifesaving programs and structures (desirable)
Qualifications

Relevant coaching accreditation (essential)

Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

First Aid / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Knowledge of Surf Life Saving sporting policies and procedures (desirable)
