Perth Racing (the trading name of the West Australian Turf Club) is the premier thoroughbred racing club in WA, operating both Ascot and Belmont Park racecourses. As a multi-faceted racing, entertainment and event business, we stage more than 90 race meetings per year, including Melbourne Cup Day at Ascot, Perth Cup, the Pinnacles series and The Quokka.
The role
Perth Racing is seeking a CRM and Insights Specialist who will play a critical role in driving customer engagement, growth, and long-term value through data-led, personalised communication strategies. Working collaboratively with a team of marketers, you will have the opportunity to work with a sophisticated CRM system (HubSpot) and a passionate team to drive customer-centric outcomes, enhance our event experiences and improve our marketing efficiency. Partnering closely with the Finance and Event Operations teams, you will deliver best-in-class CRM setups that deepen customer connection and maximise lifetime value for the Club.
You will support the delivery of data-driven CRM activity across all Perth Racing customer segments - including race day patrons, Members, partners, prospects, and industry contacts - through accurate data management, insight generation, and campaign execution that contributes to commercial return for the Club.

This is a full-time position which will include race day work on Saturdays during peak periods.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for the delivery outcomes in the following areas:
- CRM execution and campaign delivery
- Customer journey execution and delivery
- Platform and integration delivery
- Performance insights and cross-team data support
- Data integrity, compliance and best practice
About you
You’re an experienced CRM specialist with a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field. You have demonstrated proficiency for campaign delivery across multiple channels, proven experience building, testing, and optimising automated customer journeys and personalised communications at scale. You have experience working with CRM-integrated platforms such as ticketing, membership, loyalty, or booking systems, with a sound understanding of data flows between connected systems.
You have demonstrated ability to produce campaign performance reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights that inform optimisation decisions along with experience working cross-functionally, supporting internal stakeholders with data, reporting, or CRM activation needs.
