About Lacrosse Australia
Lacrosse Australia (LA) is the national governing body for Lacrosse in Australia, overseeing the sport’s governance, growth, and development. LA works in partnership with Member Associations (MAs), Australian Sports Commission (ASC), and World Lacrosse to support athlete development and pathways, facilitate competitions and events, promote and grow the sport nationally. Lacrosse is an Olympic sport bound for the LA28 Games, the first time in more than 100 years, marking a transformational era for the sport in Australia.
About the role
Lacrosse Australia is seeking a National Participation Manager to lead the development and growth of participation opportunities across the country during an exciting period for the sport.
In this national role, you’ll drive participation growth and retention, lead the rollout of Quick Stix as our flagship entry-level product, support Member Associations, and ensure inclusive, high-quality experiences for participants nationwide.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading the national participation plan and growth initiatives
- Delivering and evolving participation programs (including Quick Stix)
- Supporting Member Associations, clubs and schools
- Driving participation growth in low-participation states
- Managing participation data, insights and reporting
About you
Lacrosse Australia is seeking a proactive and collaborative participation leader who can build strong national connections and drive sustainable growth across diverse communities.
You will bring:
- Experience in sport development or participation programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable working nationally and independently
- Passionate about inclusive, positive sport experiences
