Based at AG Gillon Oval in Brunswick, the Brunswick Football Club will field four senior teams this year. We compete in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) with games played across Melbourne.
Our trainers form part of our valued medical and physio team and you will get great experience working under the direction of our Club Physios. Successful applicants will be rostered as part of a team of trainers and must be available to attend at least one training session per week (Tuesday - Thursday) and match days (Saturday).

Sports Trainers are responsible for several duties on both match day and training nights, including but not limited to:
- Sports taping
- Sports massage
- First aid
- Injury management & assessment (e.g., Concussion, assessing soft tissue injuries, range of motion tests)
Requirements:
- Level 1 Sports Trainer (or willing to obtain this)
- First Aid and CPR certificate
Ideally, students have completed their first year of study or have prior work experience with a footy club.
Sports Trainers (casual) pay rate: $35+ hourly rate
Expected Contact Hours: 6-8 per week
Physio (casual) pay rate: $60+ hourly rate
Expected Contact Hours: 6-8 per week
