Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12 situated in Brisbane’s inner Northern suburbs. About the role:

MCA is looking for an enthusiastic, driven, Tennis Coach who believe they can assist to develop and deliver the Mission and Vision for Tennis and become part of the MCA sports team, an integral part of life at the College.

The MCA Community Tennis Club (‘The Club’) is a family friendly club dedicated to delivering a consistent high-quality sporting experience to club members of all ages and skill levels. 

Casual and part-time opportunities are available.

Hours will be between 6:15 am to 8:30am and 3:30pm to 8:00 pm to cover training times, private and semi-private lessons. Additional hours may be required dependant on club activity development and programs during the school vacation periods.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • You must have a Tennis Australia Coaching Qualification - Junior Development Coach or working towards this qualification.
  • You will provide a consistent and high-level delivery of coaching across the range of programs and age groups.
  • You will need to be confident, reliable, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. Your exceptional sportsmanship and ability to build relationships with students, parents, community, colleagues, and clients will ensure you successfully perform the role.
  • You have professional presentation, are courteous and maintain awareness of school standards for yourself, your team, and the students.
  • Applicants must hold a Working with Children check issued by Blue Card Services and a First Aid Certificate.
