ACU Melbourne Netball Club is seeking a Netball Coach. Based out of the ACU Melbourne Campus in Fitzroy. An inclusive club that offers students, staff, and community members the chance to play and compete in social and competitive netball competitions across Melbourne.
About the role
The Coach will oversee team management, player selection, training, and game-day performance, fostering a strong team culture and representing ACU with pride. We're looking for an enthusiastic person to help grow the club and provide students and members with a great experience.
Position Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and deliver the ACU Melbourne Netball Club program in line with ACU Sport policies and objectives
Collaborate with ACU Sport staff, student leaders, and community partners to build and grow the club
Lead recruitment, trials, and squad selection
Coach the ACU Angles, our women's team, on Wendesday and Thursday nights through regular training, competitions, and events
Assist the Executive Committee in coordinating training schedules, equipment, and uniforms
Provide feedback to players and support the club’s executive committee on netball-related matters
Attend ACU Sport meetings, club events, Orientation Days, and represent the club at relevant competitions
Uphold ACU’s Code of Conduct and foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
