We are looking for friendly and reliable referees to join our team and help run our social sports competitions on the Gold Coast.
Our competitions focus on fun, participation and creating a positive environment for players of all skill levels. Referees play an important role in ensuring games run smoothly while maintaining an enjoyable and social atmosphere.
Games are played in the evenings between 6:00pm and 9:20pm, with referees paid $20-$25 per game (games run every 40 minutes).
This role is ideal for people who enjoy sport and are looking for flexible evening work in a fun and social environment.
Key Responsibilities
Referee social soccer or volleyball matches
Ensure games run on time and follow competition rules
Create a friendly and positive game environment
Communicate clearly with players and venue managers
About You
Passionate about sport and social competitions
Experience playing or refereeing soccer or volleyball
Organised, punctual and reliable
Confident communicating with players and teams
Able to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at games
Desirable
Previous refereeing or umpiring experience
First Aid / CPR certification
Driver’s licence
