The role of Commercial & Digital Marketing Coordinator is to:
Assist the Executive General Manager Commercial (EGMC), the Broadcast and Content Manager (BM) and Social Media Growth Coordinator, to deliver Commercial, Marketing, Events and Media outcomes.
Coordination of VAFA events.
Manage and execute VAFA marketing.
Carry out cross-over requirements between Commercial & Media in relation to activation of Commercial Partner benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in producing news content & posts on VAFA.com.au
Use Canva to create design collateral as required for VAFA Media (i.e. photo editing, graphics etc.)
Manage the production, content and design of the weekly Newsletter, on time.
Assist Social Media Growth Coordinator in production of social media content & posts.
Manage the production of the Annual Report.
Maintain website and manage content / posts
Support the EGMC to meet contractual requirements of VAFA partners.
Support the EGMC in execution of partnership activation tasks.
Coordinate the planning and delivery of VAFA events.
Execute, in conjunction with the BM digital/media requirements on a needs be basis.
Produce & distribute email marketing campaigns including VAFA’s digital newsletter during the season, as required.
Assist in the preparation of statistical reports for commercial partners and suppliers.
Using Canva experience, create marketing collateral as required to achieve partnership agreements/activations.
Experience/Skills
Tertiary qualification in Media, Marketing or relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively interacting with commercial partners, volunteers, technical resources and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience or an understanding of developing marketing materials, proposals and collateral.
Ability to think creatively to solve problems.
Organisational skills to plan and deliver projects in a timely fashion.
Excellent technical writing competency and experience.
Excellent eye for detail.
Valid Working with Children and Police Check
Desired:
Proficient working knowledge and experience with Canva or other graphic design packages would be ideal.
An understanding of the VAFA competition.
Experience working with volunteers.
Have a strong appetite and willingness to learn and develop in the role.
Be a team player.
