About the Role:
Equestrian Australia is seeking an experienced Integrity and Complaints Officer to join its Integrity Business Unit, reporting to the National Integrity Manager.
This role is central to embedding the National Integrity Framework and EA’s integrity policies across the sport, ensuring members and participants have confidence that equestrian sport is safe, clean, inclusive and fair.
You will manage integrity-related complaints, support investigations, liaise with key external bodies, and contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of EA’s integrity framework. The role may also provide administrative support to the Medication Control (swabbing) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complaints and integrity matters in accordance with EA policies and the National Integrity Framework.
- Act as a key point of contact for integrity and complaints-related enquiries.
- Liaise with Sport Integrity Australia, the National Sports Tribunal, complainants, respondents and other stakeholders.
- Conduct or coordinate investigations and support the resolution of integrity-related matters.
- Maintain EA’s complaint management system and national register of integrity matters.
- Support the review, development and implementation of EA’s integrity-related policies and procedures.
- Contribute to integrity reporting for the EA Board and State Branches.
- Assist the Integrity Manager and participate in strategic and organisational projects as required.
About You:
You are a highly motivated professional with a strong interest in integrity, governance and sport. You are confident managing sensitive matters, exercising sound judgement, and working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, sport management, law or a related field (note: relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Tertiary qualifications).
- Experience in the Australian sport sector, particularly in integrity, member protection, safeguarding, anti-doping or corruption matters.
- Demonstrated experience managing complaints or misconduct matters in a fair, impartial and confidential manner.
- Strong policy, analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to prepare material for senior leadership and Board audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
