Clinic: Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy, Fortitude Valley
2 to 5 days per week, flexible scheduling
Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy is a Brisbane-based practice dedicated to the expert care of athletes and active people with exercise-related injuries, alongside a steady caseload of general musculoskeletal presentations. We are looking for an experienced Sports Physiotherapist who values clinical excellence, autonomy, and building a strong, sustainable client base.
This is not a standard private practice role. It suits a clinician who is confident managing their own caseload, enjoys developing professional relationships, and wants performance-based earning potential in a supportive, high-quality environment.
Role Description
- Contractor position with performance-based remuneration (high earning potential for the right clinician).
- Commission based on performance ranging from 65-80%
- Flexible schedule, with options to work 2 to 5 days per week
- Includes managing your own client load, including rebooking, follow-up, and clinical planning
- There is an expectation to actively contribute to referral growth through relationship building (local sports clubs, coaches, gyms, GPs, specialists, community networks)
Who This Suits:
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Are already working in private practice and want more autonomy and upside remuneration
- Enjoy working with sporting and active populations and take pride in great outcomes
- Are motivated to build and retain your own caseload
- Understand that strong clinical care and strong referral relationships go hand-in-hand
- Enjoy working with access to a large open-plan gym and rehabilitation centre
- Enjoy working with Titled and Specialist Sports Physiotherapists, with regular professional development and case discussions.
Essential Criteria:
- AHPRA registration (Physiotherapist)
- Minimum 4 years private practice experience (or similar relevant experience)
- Strong manual therapy and exercise-based rehab skills
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and time management
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of a schedule
Highly Regarded:
- Masters of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy (completed or currently completing)
- Experience with running-related injuries, field/court sports, strength sports, or endurance athletes
- Clinical Pilates, strength and conditioning integration, or sports coverage experience
What you can Expect:
- A practice focused on high standards of clinical care and professional development
- A caseload mix of athletic and active clients, with a strong MSK foundation
- Flexibility in days and hours, built around your availability and the clinic’s demand
- Remuneration that rewards performance, initiative, and consistency
