We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteer Court Supervisors to support the delivery of our Saturday netball competition and tournament days.
As a Court Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring matches run smoothly while maintaining a safe, fair and positive environment for players, umpires, coaches and spectators. You will act as an on-site representative of KDNA, assisting with game-day operations and supporting our netball community.
This is an active, people-focused role - ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, loves walking and talking, and building positive relationships within a community sporting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee court and equipment setup and pack-up with duty clubs
Support players, coaches, officials and spectators as required
Monitor behaviour and manage incidents or safety concerns
Assist with conflict resolution in line with KDNA By-Laws and Codes of Conduct
Liaise with the Competitions Manager and KDNA Executive when required
Report hazards, incidents or damaged equipment
Maintain a professional, unbiased and supportive presence on game day
About You
You will ideally have:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure
Knowledge of netball rules and competition environments
Experience in umpiring, coaching or club administration (desirable)
A friendly, confident and community-focused approach
Enjoyment of an active role engaging with people throughout the day
Mandatory Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Current Working With Children Check
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Completion of Child Safety training (or willingness to complete)
