Role Overview
Knox Gymnastics is seeking an experienced gymnastics professional to step into a key full-time leadership role focused on the creation, delivery, and ongoing development of our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) program. You will be directly responsible for leading and developing a team of 8 coaches and supporting 60+ athletes.
This is a senior leadership position with overall accountability for the performance, growth, and successful delivery of the WAG program at Knox Gymnastics. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professional standards and will confidently lead, inspire, and develop our coaching team to support outstanding athlete outcomes.
The role includes approximately 25-30 hours of on-floor direct service (a combination of coaching and floor management), with the remaining full-time hours dedicated to strategic leadership, program planning, coach development, administration, and ongoing program innovation and growth. Weekends and evenings are a requirement of this role.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated gymnastics professional who has:
- Current Gymnastics Australia Advanced accreditation (Advanced Silver preferred) with 5-10+ years of experience
- A valid Working with Children Check
- Strong leadership capability, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to coaches and athletes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning
- Proven success in athlete development, fostering long-term performance, technical progression, artistic growth, and injury prevention
