Melbourne Rovers Soccer Club, Melbourne’s LGBTQIA+ football club since 2008, is looking for a volunteer Coach to join our senior coaching team for the 2026 Metro League season.
Based in Richmond, and with two senior teams and close to 50 players, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth. We've just added a second squad for the first time in over 5 years and are looking for someone who can complement our existing coaches, bring fresh energy, and help elevate standards across the squad.
You’ll deliver one training session per week and support Sunday match days, working collaboratively within a committed and resourceful leadership group. There’s also the option to get involved in futsal, social events, and wider community initiatives.
We do things differently. Our club is actively engaging with the broader football ecosystem, building meaningful relationships with A League clubs and Football Victoria, alongside community non-profits. We’re building something long term and values driven within Victorian sport.
This is an opportunity to coach in an environment that genuinely champions inclusion while still striving for structure, development and competitive improvement.
