The Western Bulldogs Football Club is seeking Expressions of Interest for VFLW Line Coaches to support the Club’s VFLW program for the 2026 season.
This role will work closely with the VFLW Senior Coach to deliver the Club’s coaching philosophy, support player development, and manage a designated line group (Backs/Mids/Forwards) across training and match day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the VFLW Senior Coach in the delivery of coaching philosophy and game plan
Manage a designated line group at training and on match day
Provide technical and tactical coaching aligned with player development objectives
Support game day coaching requirements (coaches box/bench)
Review match footage using Sportscode/Hudl and provide player feedback as required
Key Selection Criteria
Current Working with Children Check (mandatory)
AFL Level 2 Coaching Accreditation (or in process of obtaining)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver and review training and game strategies
Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching and high-performance environment
Time Commitment
Attendance at all Western Bulldogs VFLW matches
2-3 training sessions per week & coaches meetings as required
Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
